Christian Education

Children's program begins at 10 am in classroom and then joins the congregation for Eucharist. Lectionary -based curriculum.

Coffee Hour

Volunteers assist in setting up our weekly fellowship after the 10:00 AM liturgy.

Greeters

Welcomes and greets congregants. Helps make newcomers feel welcome and follows up with information on the congregation and connection to parish staff

Lay Eucharistic Ministers

assist at services, administering the chalice, and at times, visiting those unable to join in our communal Eucharist.

Lectors

assist at the services by reading the first and second lessons, leading the psalm, during the Liturgy of the Word at Mass.

Miscellaneous Parish Helpers

People help with office work, gardening, painting, sprucing up, decorating for events etc etc. Have a talent to share with the congregation or the community?

The Acolytes

assist at services as torchbearers, thurifers and servers.

The Altar Guild

cares for the altar and its appointments and prepares for services. Candles, vestments or other items for use in the liturgy may be donated in remembrance of a loved one, to recognize an important event or in thanksgiving for graces received. Contact the Church Office with your requests.

The Choir

leads and supports the singing at the 10:00 A.M. Sunday service as well as providing special music from time to time. Seasonal CHILDRENS CHOIR - call for information.

The Flower Guild

prepares arrangements for the sanctuary and parish. gatherings, to help us “worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness”. Flowers may be donated in remembrance of a loved one, to recognize an important event or in thanksgiving for graces received. Contact the Church Office with your requests.

The Parson's Pantry

collects food for the hungry in our own and surrounding communities and distributes it through the Infant Jesus Church's food pantry.

The Saturday Senior Lunch Program

On the last Saturday of each month Resurrection volunteers prepare a free lunch and create an atmosphere of fellowship for seniors in our neighborhoods

Treasure Sales and Fairs

provides clothing, books and household articles at reasonable cost. Surplus items are given away to charitable institutions. Help in sorting and pricing is always welcome. Proceeds benefit the mission and ministry of Resurrection.
